"Rachel worked with my daughter while attending the University of Arizona for four years and did a superb job. My daughter has progressive cerebellar atrophy which has slowed her processing, affected her motor skills, as well as affected her self esteem.
When my daughter was accepted to the University of Arizona I could not help but feel numerous mixed emotions wondering how she would receive the support she desperately needed with her numerous learning disabilities. From the day to day tasks of cutting and buttoning to dealing with other challenges to continue her academic career in college, my daughter needed someone who could turn her struggles into success.
My goal for my daughter was to give her the opportunity that most young adults experience in college with the hope that she would one day be able to be independent and successful in pursuing her love of teaching. My prayers were answered when I met Rachel. Rachel has tutored my daughter for four years and not only helped her excel academically but provided the emotional support she has needed while attending the University of Arizona. She built up her self esteem giving my daughter the confidence needed in her academic endeavors. Rachel has not only learned her strengths but helped her overcome her weaknesses by teaching her strategies to achieve success in math, English, history and other courses she has been enrolled at the university.
Rachel has built a wonderful rapport with my daughter and her enthusiasm, positive personality, and passion for learning have helped my daughter succeed in the classroom. I cannot recommend Rachel and her group enough."

"If it was not for Rachel, my daughter would not be where she is today, no two ways about it. My daughter started out at the U of A confused, lost and failing most of her classes, and had no idea where to turn for help. The SALT Center was absolutely worthless for her. Desperate, I found Rachel through Craigslist, and not only did my daughter graduate in May 2017, finishing in 4 years. Rachel even helped my daughter find her first job out of college, helped her get into a graduate certificate program, and is tutoring her online! If you have any trepidation about hiring Rachel or her staff, throw it out the window - these people are the real deal."

"Rachel has done absolute wonders for my son, who has a traumatic brain injury. I was so worried about him going into UA, since he had not been involved in traditional schooling for some time. After the first two weeks of the Fall 2013 semester, my son was not getting the help that the SALT Center had promised, and I contacted Rachel. It was the best decision I've ever made - my son went from concern about his abilities to a 3.70 GPA in his first semester and a 4.0 in his second semester! He graduated magna cum laude from UA with a 3.89 GPA in the honors college, something I could not imagine in my wildest dreams. Rachel understood my son and the troubles that college students face. He now has an incredible tech job and is really doing it all on his own. I was so impressed that I had her tutor my younger daughter as well, and she was able to get into a prestigious Speech Language Pathology graduate program. I could not have asked for a better tutor!"

"My son and I made a huge mistake in having him transfer to Arizona upon the false info given to us by an advisor in the General Studies department. Thanks to a recommendation from a friend's family, we turned to Rachel to help get my son through school. She worked tirelessly as a tutor, an advisor, and a guiding spirit to my son. He graduated in 2019 with a degree that was cobbled together, but made sense for him and most importantly got him a job. Rachel got his resume in order, helped with cover letters and everything. She is pure magic."

"Amber has been a GODSEND to my kids. She is always seems to know EXACTLY how to get my son to stay on task. BELIEVE ME, no other tutors here in Tucson understand learning disabled kids like Tucson LD Tutors - we have gone through 5 other tutors through Craigslist and WITHOUT A DOUBT, Amber is the best. Rachel KNOWS how to select and train her tutors. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. THESE FOLKS ARE THE BEST, PERIOD."
